Mack's Petroleum
Starting from humble beginnings in 1996 Mack's Petroleum debuted as an independent downstream energy company with one depot in Wolmaransstad ~ Johan van der Merwe initiated such a legacy.

Mack’s was formed by Johan vd Merwe (Mack) with its acquisition of the Wolmaransstad Engen fuel depot. Through hard work and dedication this small depot grew to be a market leader in the area and soon attracted the attention of our principle, Engen Petroleum, who wanted to replicate Mack's winning formula to capture a bigger market share in the Northern and central territories of SA.

The name Mack's reflects the company's rich history and has strong brand recognition and value as it has grown to six depots situated at Wolmaransstad, Bloemhof, Schweizer Reneke, Vryburg, Bloemfontein and Kuruman over the past two decades.

Mack’s Petroleum vision is to be the leader in supplying fuel and relating products to Retailers, Farming Communities & Co-ops, Transport Companies and Mines in the Northwest- and Northern Cape Province.

We own and operate a huge fleet of distribution vehicles across the 5 depots.
Mack’s Petroleum is also equipped with our own in house Workshop with well-trained technical staff and mechanics to ensure that our fleet are well maintained and routinely monitored to guarantee that there is no delay in our service delivery.
